Where were you July 28th, 2 years ago? Maybe at our wedding! :) Since we were already in Rochester, Matthew and I decided to celebrate at a special family place-- Barker. My parents, grandparents, and countless friends and relatives have walked (or golf carted) these dirt roads for many decades and there are few places as special to me as this little family camp by lake ontario. It was a joy to introduce Abby my memory lane.

Matthew and i had almost a whole day to make our own memories sitting by the lake, playing music, napping, wading in the water, burning food on the age old stove/pans, setting off the fire alarm... the kind of memories that are really special. Burnt eggs and loud noises, ahh

Yes it was cold, and yes she minded... but it had to be done. She'll learn to polar bear swim one day!

We had fun surprising Great Grandma and pa King at their breakfast table the next day. The rest of the cornells joined us the 29th and we had a great day at the cottage, doing nothing in particular but skipping stones, talking, walking around, etc.

Look closely for a tongue... already Abby brings her own personality to our family photos, the rascal!
