This week our temperature has been in the 90s, so we decided to take advantage of the weather and company with a sailing trip and picnic lunch to our local beach (Falls Lake, not the ocean) Everyone got a chance to sail except Abby because we forgot her tiny life jacket at home, but she loved the sand, waves, water experience anyway. I was surprised how she just plunged right in (in her clothes, before I even had the chance to put a suit on her!) and she seemed to really enjoy the texture of the wet sand.
