Little things

Abby is really starting to pick up on some ideas! Today she learned how to "kiss"... if you can call smashing your face on something a kiss! But it's close enough for me :) She has also really enjoyed having Z back in her life, and has even started sharing toys with her for the first time (instead of yanking them away and handing them over to me).

No picture of this, but a moment completely made my day today that i wanted to share...
Abby LOVES to walk up and down our front path, but for obvious safety reasons I don't want her going onto the driveway (1. it's tilted steeply down and 2. it leads to the road) so she has finally started to obey and stop when she gets to the edge of the path on her own. However, since she got some new shoes, we have been letting her walk on the sidewalk at times. So... today she got to the end of the path and turned around to make eye contact with me. She made the sign for please and kept doing it and staring at me until I got the fact that she was asking my permission to take a walk on the sidewalk. I was blown away and she was delighted to get her walk! I heart communication!
