High: lots of extra family time, a trip to the zoo with a special train ride which Abby obsessed over all week.
Low: I went a little stir crazy, and at one point rushed my daughter with scissors, which ended with abby bangs! It was only 2 snips (all i could get in before she realized what i was doing) but it's doing the job for now (adios hair bows!) and we're getting used to her new look.
Low: Our 3 dollar bread machine kicked the bucket.

It's more wonderful than it even sounds. You mix up this big batch of dough (no kneading, just mix) and let it sit for 2 hours before putting it in the fridge. Then you can cut off a piece any time you want for the next two weeks, form a loaf of bread and cook (no kneading, no work). The crispiest crust, the most custardy inside. I will eat this bread the rest of my life.
Abby looks adorable! I think you did a great job on the bangs. Boys love seeing Abby on a train of course, and how cute with the zoo theme. Maybe at Christmas you could share your new bread recipe with us...hope you enjoy your weekend!
