the long awaited spring break!

We told Abby that Miles was coming about a week ago. She asked about him or reminded us that he was coming every day until Saturday when she woke up, heard strange voices in the house and figured out that Miles was here! Life doesn't get much better than this for Abby. She LOVES having a constant companion. Their favorite activities are running together, saying each other's names and they're working on actually connecting on their high fives :)

This whole happy kid scenario also works out beautifully for us grownups and we are having lots of fun catching up and being together as our kids are contentedly off playing.

We got the koalas looking the same direction at the same time. Think we could manage that with our kids?

Making some connections about milk!

Abby is not the only kid who refuses to feed the giraffes.

Now we are watching Miles while Lissa and Jon have an early anniversary overnight in Charleston. This was at the library, but the animals are still the main attraction :)
