weekend

Our family weekend starts Friday since Sunday is technically seen as a work day for matthew. This weekend we had two major scores. One was that we found an entire second floor of the children's museum that abby loved (tree house kitchen, boat and dock with fishing, nature themed slides, etc.). The other big surprise was a huge garage sale we happened to see Saturday. Abby probably got more "presents" today than she did for her birthday :) Check out all her new fun activities!!

Abby got gloves to go with her space suit, oxygen helmet and cardboard rocket. The suit needs a little help, but she is still pretty pumped about it all.

These beads were one of my favorite finds of the day. It was 6 bucks for a huge bin of colorful wooden and hippy ceramic beads. I have been wanting beads for Abby for a while and thinking about just buying them for her... but also challenged by some friends encouragement to bring our desires before the Lord before just meeting them ourselves. God always seems to provide so far above and beyond what we imagined!!!

Can you also spot her green ninja turtle roller skates in the hallway? Abby has been reading about roller skates for months. She was so insanely delighted to have a pair of her own and try it out. For a dollar i couldn't complain either :)
