Welcome Bebo!

We're pretty sure he feels unjustly brought forth from his cozy warm previous housing.

Luckily though he is every bit as chill on the outside as on the inside... so far!

Abby could have cared less that matthew and i were gone... the first thing she said when she saw me walk in the room was WHERE IS BEBO?!

Kisses, presents and a complete examination were given to the long awaited little brother.

Labor started with my prenatal visit Tuesday morning. It turned into more active labor around dinner time. Mom came over and put abby to bed so matthew and i could focus on finally meeting bebo. We came to the hospital around 9:30 and were completely surprised how accommodating of ALL our wishes the staff was. They only monitored the baby while i was enjoying a jacuzzi bath, encouraged food and water, didn't check me again until i was pushing, and let me birth on the daddy couch instead of the hospital bed! Matthew's massages and love along with words of encouragement and direction from my midwife were Gifts i could not have done without. We pushed about 20 minutes and Benji was born on September 21 at 12:04 am. He was 20.5 inches and 7lbs 15oz.

He's nursing, sleeping and pooping like a champ. We are so thankful.
