christmas catching up...

first we got a tree!

 then we got snow!

this is matthias' first snowfall! he wasn't thrilled. but abby was!

 we celebrated dad's birthday

(sigh. no pics until everyone went home)

the rizzos arrive the 23rd and we have christmas eve!

we had a pagent with the grunerts children which was fabulous.

(abby and matthew took their roles very seriously)

 the 12 days of christmas marathon begins! 

 classic fancy dress kid picture. tai tai wasn't having any of it. i'm sorta proud of him :)

 bethany thought it was safe to wear the crowns since rachel wasn't around to snap a shot. so i filled in. you're welcome rachel :)

 day no.2 was sledding at highland park! 

 it was so so fun. better than i even hoped. look at that smile!

 day 3 we said goodbye to the rizzos and then had fun with the grunerts and cornells

 day 4 was a jumpy house trampoline with the baji! 

 such silliness ensued. we must have knocked our heads a bit in there...

 day 5 we were hoping to take all the GGs to the Lamberton Consevatory before a dinner at our house but we got snowed out for the first part. We still got to have dinner and enjoy watching tai tai's fall in love with his gathering drum from grammy. Abby got to open and enjoy her imagination theater from aunt ray ray too. thanks rachel and the GGs for coming out!
