Baby Shower!

Celebrating at the Nickoloff farm is always a highlight for Matthew and I. This time i got to enjoy the party a little more than he did (he was shunned from the house during the shower :) but we were both equally appreciative for the shower, and felt very loved in the weekend we spent in NY. Besides the shower we were able to visit both his grandparents at their new homes nearby, have an Indian cuisuine dinner with dad, play with Micah and Nathan, and celebrate the new addition to our family on Joel and Bri's side- our nephew Isaac Benjamin Cornell! Thanks to everyone who came and made it happen. Here are some picture highlights...

The weather was actually great most of the time we were home. We were excited that Rachel was able to be there too, all the way from the twin cities!
Mima came with the most exquisitely packaged gift of course. I saved everything the best I could and took pictures of what I couldn't.

Both Matthew's Grandma's recently moved which is why we were able to spend time with them which was lovely.

Aunt Karen was with us in spirit from Japan, and was even thoughtful enough to have made this tag blanket back at Christmas time so we could have it at the baby shower. Thanks Aunt Karen!!

Even though Lynda and Bekah were out of town, we still had some King family members... Jess and Christy (and Rachel of course! :) but it was great to have Faith helping unwrap and test out the gifts. It was also my first time meeting little Justice. Hey little guy!

And the PXC girls came from all over, (with their running shoe box gifts:) which made me estatic to no end. We tromped through the woods and gave Keith the scare of his life hiding out in the hay loft when he came into the barn after the shower... which really made the day perfect.
