Miles, our godson, was baptized in Maryland this past Labor Day weekend... so here is the chronicle of our trip...
Abigail is such a great traveler, especially when she has a book in front of her! We started at 6 am, nearly rearended a guy asleep at the wheel in the middle of an intersection, and then only stopped 1time on our way.
Once we got there, we made a last minute decision to go to Baltimore...
and see an Orioles game! It was Abby's first major league baseball game (and about 10 ushers made SURE we got a certificate to prove it!).

Sunday Miles got baptized at the early service. He's wearing an adorable pope-like hat; we processed in, and he was baptized right away!
Jon's parents hosted a great brunch afterwards. The weekend finished a little early as we left Monday at 6am again. Not a lot of sleep, but no traffic either. Hooray for a wonderful weekend!
