Blogging is really taking a back seat here... but we are more settled in than before. Abby's newest favorite addition is her birthday gift art table where she constantly paints and draws. We started her with water colors, but she just discovered the rich colored tempura paints and loves both. I got my sewing table set up too and have already made a project for a birthday party we went to this week.
Father's day was a bit anticlimatic for matthew since he had to work most of the day on his sermon. Abby and i had fun though making a big project of baking his cake. She did almost everything for this cake, from walking to the store to buy it, to pouring, cracking the eggs and mixing, shaving down the random white chocolate bunnies we were given at our pantry party (from a whole huge shopping bag of random chocolate!) putting the candles in, and setting the table. Then she insisted we sing "happy father's day to you" which sounds strangely like happy birthday to you. It was fun.
