a week later reflections on newness...

I find myself both awed and frustrated beyond belief at all the newness around. Here are some of the joys and growls so far :)

Favorite Things--

*5-10 little spanish speaking friends living across the street. Abby has already said her first words in spanish... como estan and hola.

*a clothes line!

*garden to tend every morning and evening

*coolness of all the open windows/safety of being on the 2nd floor

*beautiful mountain view from our living room

*parks for abby within blocks in every direction

*bri calling up to ask if we want to hang out

*summer pool passes!

Grrrrrs-

*Back hurting so bad i can barely walk (going to a chiropractor tomorrow)

*not having all my stuff with me

*figuring out matthews (non) schedule/ weird hours

*still no couch/living room furniture! craigslist: pull it together!

*not having a doctor yet, or knowing where Bebo will be born

Thanks for praising with us and praying for us, this is definitely more challenging than all our previous moves/ life stages and we're also a little intimidated to think how it will all change again so drastically in 3 months. We know to focus on the little steps each day, it's just hard.
