1. We are excited to welcome a newly married couple into our house in a few weeks! They are people we recently met during morning prayer and the opportunity to live in community together seems like an answer to prayer for all of us. They are newly married, as in, we were able to go to their wedding this past Saturday and we were very taken with the beauty, simplicity and handiwork of the whole celebration. These flags were handmade, their friends made centerpieces, the groom made candles as favors, etc. We really enjoyed the day and are looking forward to getting to know them better.
2. It's really hot here! I am really feeling that huge and pregnant thing, but maybe it's better than snuggling a newborn all the time in this heat?
3. Zarzar is still up for adoption, but we are really enjoying him too.
4. My daughter celebrates eucharist with popsicles of her own volition. And look at that face, I think she is really happy jesus showed up as an OJ and yogurt cold treat today :)
