Post of a month...

Here's to a little catching up....

a picture from celebrating "Cornell"and tai tai's birthday's together.  Look at all that family in one place so awesome :)

Courtney randomly called me one day and happened to be in town! We met up at a show her friend was in... in Tim Avery's bar. These sorts of things happen in Rochester. I'm still not used to it, but I love it!

We discovered a tea set of Auntie Bet's in the basement and have had a few teas, formal and non.

Park with Gpa who abby has re-named Jeeps (lynda was renamed Jeems). Dad still has all the energy and enthusiam i remember him having when I was little. It makes me soo happy.

I think it might be making Dad happy too :)

Even grandma and grandpa had fun watching all the bundles of energy run around.

We are loving living in the country! There have been more rainy days than i can remember since childhood, but also so many beautiful days! More blue skies than I had hoped for! We take FULL advantage of them whenever they come, fishing, horse back riding (abby got to go for a trail ride once with aunt rachel!), riding bikes, being a fairy on the dock, etc....

and on rainy days?  this is what we get when we spend too much time inside, unsupervised :)

Country girl! (for now:)

These 2 months of living at the farm have flown by and Keith and Lori have been awesome about making us feel completely welcome and at home here. The time we've had with all cousins so close in proximity has been really special! Abby loves hanging out with the "Bajus boys" and Tai tai and Annika have a special 1 year old bond too.

Church has begun! and by that i mean, we had a worship service! the bigger deal though is how matthew is working like crazy to meet people, get to know the many communities that make up our larger city community, preach at other congregations and figure out next steps for ours.  I often feel overwhelmed for him, but he's doing great!

It's matthew's church, of course there are icons!  (this is a gratitude table/station)

prayer station where we write prayers of the people read later in the service.

a welcome table and everything. (thanks for the linens Mima!)

This was a really fun outing to Power's Market with the Cornells! Over and over again i am struck by how fun it is to take my kids to places that i loved as a kid and with my FAMILY! Abby actually braved it through the tee-pees and a scary haunted hay ride with Gma! Here though is Aaron taking Matthias on the best wagon ride of his life! (until he face planted in the gravel! :)

So long till november, we are supposed to close on our house Nov. 5th! Wish us luck!

  2. I LOVE the picture of Abby with green behind- its like you live in a dream world with all that fun going on! So happy you're getting your own place though too! The church looks lovely. How are you holding up with all of Matthew's busyness?
