I think these past weeks win the busiest time of our family's life award. In the past 2 weeks specifically we finally closed on our house and moved in, went to MD for a week (Thanksgiving and Mom and Chris' 25th anniversary), had a series of illnessnes that functionally wiped us out for almost that whole time, and had a full week of watching a new 10 month old who will be joining our family 4 days a week. We also started advent, restarted cloth diapers, had a few family and friend get togethers plus matthew's work. whew.
So, to start catching up... here is the house in progress.
I thought this foyer was mostly wasted space, but it's turned out pretty functional! Hooray!
What it looked like post wall paper.
Our living room is directly next to the foyer. We are trying to figure out what color to paint over the puke green/brown that it is currently. Any suggestions? We are thinking light green or rose/pink right now.
Our dining room connects to the living room with pocket doors. We are also trying to figure out a color scheme for this room. Needs to match the living room since they can operate as one large space.
The butler pantry is the behind the door in the dining room pics.
It's competing for the love of my life spot in my heart :)
There is also a powder room right next to it.
Our kitchen mid painting BRIGHT yellow. We did finish painting, but I forgot how paint always dries darker than the color of the paint chip. sigh. It needs another coat so i might have the paint store lighten it just a little.
Hooray dad and matthew!
Upstairs we have 4 almost equal sized bedrooms. It makes Matthias and Abby's rooms seem giant!
My room doesn't even get a photo because it's that undeserving :) Our "study" is also under construction, especially since we just got a futon from our neighbors that we have to readjust for! Thanks neighbors.
The attic is super too... but that will have to be house tour part b since i don't have a picture.

Wow! Looks awesome Leah!
