It finally warmed up. We are free of our house!!! I feel like a totally differen person. hooray!!!
We spend the majority of our days in our back yard and our park a block away. It's soo good.
Filling up the garden box with all our compost.
We went to a mayfaire party and picnic with abby's school next year. There was REAL maypoles and lots of dancing. Besides pulling a drowining kid out of the pond (not my own), it was really nice.
Highland park is super super beautiful this time of year! Our whole neighbohood is! It's really amazing and just what everyone's spirits needed. Come to the LILAC festival one day with us!
Our first tipi! Abby is so thrilled as you can see.
Other updates: I am continuing to watch Maddie for now while her family searches for a nanny.
Our house hosted 9 kids and 4 adults today all at different times. Abby has made some friends who happen to be twin 4 year old girls. Abby is in dress-up, puppet show, painting, pool splashing, mud making heaven. Also- their mom watches kids too and only lives a few blocks away. She is a rastafarian (dreads down the back and vegan). We get along great :)
The catholic worker is working to open a free store in our church and i'm heading it up with a Worker. Yippee! God's free economy!
We got a new contractor for our lead and work is starting this Friday!! We will be so glad to have that behind us!

Hooray! Joy done cometh in the morning, like you knew it would. Rochester's springs are, I maintain, more joyful for being SO long overdue.
